LLSDC 2006 Election Results

On behalf, of the LLSDC Election Committee, I am pleased to announce the winners of the recent election:

Board Members: Karen Silber and Lisa Harrington
Life Members: Pamela Gregory and Carol Tropea

Thanks to all the candidates who ran and all the members who voted. I also want to let you know that we received lots of feedback on the election and that feedback will be taken into account for next year's balloting. The most frequent suggestion was that the email sending out the passwords for the online voting be sent on the day balloting begins -- a change I will recommend to the folks at AALL. If you have any feedback about the election and have not yet sent it in, please contact Michael Gentile

The Elections Committee tabulates all valid ballots cast by the regular, life, and student members of the Society for the annual election of Officers, Board Members, Life Members and Honorary Members.
